Mattsnaps.

Goodbye :(

Well, you have probably realised by now that I am no longer updating mattsnaps. I think it’s a shame because when I had taken a photo and uploaded it, it was really satisfying to look at them all. Sadly though, the truth is, I just can’t keep up. Not only because I am busy but also because not that much exciting stuff happens to me! I’m not saying I lead a boring life but finding something photoworthy each day is a challenge.

I will at some point soon make a proper website for all my films, photos and stuff but I have yet to set that up. I will post it on here when it’s done if anyone wants to have a look.

For now, I have made a new tumblr free from the “mattsnaps” username, the link to that is on my second tumblr. I really do make too many accounts.

Anyway, that’s about it. Thanks for taking the time to read this and indeed looking at my photos. It was fun for the brief amount of time it lasted :)

Hello.

If you have eyes, you will probably have realised by now that I haven’t uploaded any photos so far this year. The truth is that whilst at first I was taking photos, I haven’t these last 2 weeks. The idea of uploading the backlog now scares me and the truth is, i’m starting to wonder if it’s worth calling it a day.

I do really enjoy uploading these photos but on the other hand, there is only so much exciting stuff that happens in a week. Finding something everyday was even harder.

I could take a few pictures a week but then it lacks consistancy and that annoys me.

I suppose the point of this post is to ask what you think I should do? More importantly, does anybody actually take the time to read these :P

Today I went to see Rheanna :D

We’re both feeling a bit ill at the moment so it was nice to whinge at each other and make each other feel a bit better. Also got to open my first presents which included this lovely packet of sweets. I LOVE foam hearts (you know, the little harribo ones) and I also love love hearts so this particular present made me happy :)

Let the christmas eating fest begin :P

P.S I have an epic girlfriend. I love her :)

I went to town today to finish my Christmas shopping and that was fun but quite possibly the most exciting thing about today was this lovely cup of joy from starbucks.

MOCHA WITH PEPPERMINT. It was lovely and yeh. It’s probably not that exciting to look at but it was yummy. :)

Also got nearly all my shopping done. One thing I failed at but i’m sure i’ll find it :P

More snow today! *Shocked face*

What did I do in said snow? Build a snowman? Go sledging? Why of course not, I helped to clear the church car park so that all the old biddys could get to the carol service. As dad said, we wouldn’t them to miss the “biggest gig of the year” :P

It’s going to be a good Christmas :D
These are the films I plan to watch. I love Little Miss Sunshine and Juno, pretty much my favourite films. Then love actually, elf and Home alone are essential at christmas and finally SDM which I only want to watch because I haven’t seen it yet :P

BTW, Home Alone is legal, it’s just in a silly box because I borrowed it from college :)

Today was fun :)

Had a half day because we broke up for Christmas so went to Rheanna’s :D
Lovely afternoon with her, lazing about and stuff. Threatened to eat her advent chocolate. Note to self, don’t get between Rheanna and Chocolate!

Then in the evening, we went out with her family for a meal :)

Was very nice, her family seemed to like me and there was so much food. Literally ready to pop :P

The picture by the way is Rheanna, curling her hair. Even though I was there, she talks to herself when she is getting ready.

This is a santa lolly. Rheanna gave it to me and it was scrummy. Infact, Rheanna has been pretty epic this month. The last week of November whilst walking home, I was whinging about the fact I didn’t have an advent calendar. The next day, just as I am about to go home, she gave me and some chocolate :D

Ever since then, I have recieved a note, or some sweets, or an email, or a lolcat and every single day, I leave college with a big smile on my face. I suppose the point I am trying to make is that Rheanna is awesome and I love her a lot :)

Oh and mishapen santa lollies taste good :P

Continuing with the Christmas theme from yesterday, this is a few pictures from the pub tonight.

At Greenbelt festival, there is an event called Beer and Hymns at which the atmosphere is incredible. It’s probably the only event at which singing Hymns can be enjoyable but anyway…

Hoping to recreate something similar, our church hosted a Carols and Cider evening at our local pub and it was a lot of fun! There was a pretty good turnout of around 30 or so people and even some of the locals joined in!

Feeling very very christmas-sy now! If a little tipsy… :P

Today, Will, dad and I took Grandma to the stone masons to get my grandpa’s headstone paid for. As Grandma is on par with, if not higher socially than our Queen, she does of course gets to sit on the front of dads car. This in turn leaves myself and Will in the back with the smallest amount of leg room possible without it being classified as abuse. Will is over 6ft, and as a result I laughed at him crammed into this tiny space. In fact, I laughed a lot.

We then had an exciting trip to Sainsburys so Grandma could buy her groceries and then we all had fish and chips :D What a lovely family day out! :P
